Sweet & Crunchy Candied Pecans

This sweet treat is so easy to make and an awesome snack for anytime of day or to share over the holiday! Yes, they are keto-friendly as long as you use an approved sugar substitute.


Preheat oven at 250 degrees. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Ingredients

2 cups pecans

1/2 cup brown sugar sweetner (swerve brown sugar, monkfruit golden)

1 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp kosher salt (optional)

1 egg white



Directions

1. Whip egg white until soft peaks

2. Add in vanilla

3. Mix in pecans

4. Stir in sugar and cinnamon until pecans are coated (add in salt- optional)

5. Spread out on parchment lined cookie sheet

6. Bake at 250º for 35-45 minutes, flipping every 15 minutes


* My family prefers these extra crunchy so we bake close to 60 minutes.
