Mini Steak and Cheese Appetizers

Are you looking for easy appetizers for your next event or Super Bowl Party?



Ingredients

Sliced deli roast beef (12 slices cut into small strips)

2 cups shredded provolone


Filling

2 Tablespoons unsalted butter

Sliced green bell peppers

Sliced onions

Sliced mushroom

Sea salt and pepper



Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degree F

  2. Heat two tablespoons of butter in a pan over medium heat.

  3. Add any combination of your preferred sliced fillings (peppers, onions, mushrooms). Cook until soft and season with salt and pepper.

  4. Place a strip of roast beef on a clean surface, sprinkle with shredded cheese, and add one spoonful of sauteed veggies on top of cheese. Roll up the roast beef starting at the short end. Place seam side down in a casserole dish or on a baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining roast beef and filling.

  5. Sprinkle the remaining shredded provolone on top of the roll ups. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

  6. Serve warm with a side of horseradish aioli or mustard of choice.
